Per The Finance Journey – ING is going to start offering checking accounts with an expected 3% APY! It sounds like the only catch is that you dont have the ability to physically write a checkyou have to request the check via the web and ING will create it and mail it out. Thats great for bills, but I wonder what happens when you need to write that check on the spot to pay that merchant that doesnt take plastic (not that there are all that many of these).
